Budokan
Not the most attractive place from the outside, but if you're a fan of Japanese and pan–Asian cuisine, then this place is worth a look. A decent sized restaurant serving up an eclectic menu. Food guaranteed to impress a date, prices guaranteed to give you a heart attack and benches guaranteed to give you a numb arse.

Having been to Budokan on Colston Street 3 times, I feel I am qualified to advise this: Stay well clear of it. Do yourself a favour and go to Budokan in Clifton- even if it is a bit of a walk away from the centre, it's 100 times better than the one on Colston street. The staff are rude or at the very least icy, the service is slow (we went for my birthday and it was 2 hours before our food came!), there's no atmosphere and the overall running of the place is incompetent (we got given meat instead of tofu).
