Highbury Vaults

Highbury Vaults is the epitome of the word pub - a proper old boozer which prides itself on its selection of real ales. It's never so packed that you have to stand and shout at your friends but on the many afternoons and evenings that Itchy has dropped in for a drink or three it's been pleasantly full with a good mix of young and old. The pub is popular with both students and lecturers from the nearby university. So there's usually a few intellectual-looking types gathered around a table with their pints, earnestly putting the world to rights. And some vaguely philosophical graffiti scrawled in the loos, which becomes more meaningful the drunker you get. Speaking of graffiti, some bloke called Banksy has also left his seal of approval on one of the outside walls.
