Mangia! Mangia!
Formally La Boheme, this little corner café is now rather more mamma mia! than ooh la la! They've given it a lick of paint and changed the CD to Il Divo, et voila! Mangia! Mangia! is transformed into a cosmopolitan street-cafe on some Italian piazza. Almost. For a café boasting pizza 'Roman style' there isn't a toga in sight. What there is, however, is a vast selection of home-made pizza slices which my sister declared (slightly conversely) ”the best since Croatia“, while I enjoyed a lentil soup from the modest lunch menu which featured - well - pizza and soup. Owned by the same congenial owners as La Boheme, this cosy little corner café offers a nice cup of tea, a nice cup of coffee, rather tasty smoothies, some nice cakes and pastries and some rather excellent service. Perfect for those ”let's grab a coffee“ moments.
