Nails Gallery

Found down several steps, beneath the bustle of St Nicholas market, The Nails Gallery is a collection of art-work strewn spaces worthy of a quiet wonder; a particular favourite is the final room, which is carved out of the rock wall, leaving a rough, cave-like finish. It made Itchy feel like a character in a highbrow Flintstones. The gallery is one of several in the area who support local artists, and recent exhibitions include a display of imaginative pieces by local children's book illustrators.
