Night Buses in Bristol
We all know that feeling: it's late and you stumble out of the pub or club; the torrential rain is quickly soaking you to the bone and as you look frantically for your chauffeur-driven Rolls, you realise it's not going to materialise.
In the absence of a reliable teleportation device, it would appear Bristol City Council have come up with the next best thing.
The Night-Flyers – BCC's shimmering fleet of night buses – are ready to take you to places you never thought possible on Friday and Saturday nights – mainly to your house – between the hours of midnight and 6am.
Eight routes operate along the main bus corridors of Bristol, departing from the city centre – in close proximity to your favourite nightspots – and reaching the end of the line in an impressive 30 minutes.
What's more, the Night-Flyers come at the reasonable price of a £2.50 flat fare, making them much cheaper than a taxi and perfect for large groups of revellers on their merry way.
The friendly banter of the night-bus home is an experience that is quite unique and you'd do well to give it a go.
