Walkabout

Let's face it, in modern-day England you're never far away from a weird Aussie venue. Situated in old-town Bristol, the Walkabout is a classic example of one of these. Amid the kangaroo burgers on the menu and gallons of Fosters on tap, you're bound to get into the down-under swing of things. It's cheap and cheerful, overwhelmingly sporty (the screens cover every inch of the walls) and turns into a lively bar when the evening comes. With an excellent location and inexpensive booze, this is a groovy little stop off on a bar-crawl or, indeed, a fake holiday.
