St Werburgh's City Farm

St Werburgh's is, quite literally, a mind-boggling Eden in the middle of our friendly, but smelly city. It's free all year round and offers a range of livestock, a community garden and an adventure playground for the young and old. Heavily involved in all things environmental and green, the farm keeps close ties with many local organisations (everything from Amnesty to prostitution groups). You can arrange a guided tour or an educational session and hire out an incubator; helping lots of tiny chicks on their way. Brilliant.
