Cosies
In an unexpectedly pretty cellar in the heart of St Pauls, Cosies provides a compact space that is something between a bar and a club. The fact that it once experimented with an open weed smoking policy (which that devilishly brilliant smoking ban put paid to), speaks volumes about the bar's philosophy on life. Everything here is chilled, friendly and cool – it's one of the few places in St Pauls where there is little trouble between students and the local community, which has to be a cause for celebration in itself. Music tends to be at the reggae end of the scale.
