Myristica
King Street is a brilliant isn't it? The Old Duke at the end, the Old Vic slap-bang in the middle and of course, Myristica, queen of Indian restaurants. It offers speedy service and super food, with both traditional and adventurous dishes served on pretty plates. The atmosphere mixes the sensory pleasure of an Indian restaurant with a touch of classy Britishness. It's an excellent place to be taken by friends or parents – it's a tad pricey so you'll feel the curry burn in your pocket the next morning.
