Blue Lagoon Café
A laid-back vibe of great, chilled-out music (Bob Marley being a favourite), an inviting smoothie menu and plenty of terrace-style seating suggest that this café should be but a few steps from the golden sand of the Med. Sadly, the reality is a spectacular view of traffic rushing by on a busy Gloucester Road. That said, a tempting selection of lunchtime paninis, baguettes and burgers, and a wall-size panoramic photograph of Bristol Waterfront make the place a definite winner, especially when the sun's out. Even if that is only once in a blue moon. or possibly a Blue Lagoon.
