The Highbury Vaults
Highbury Vaults is an interesting contrast to its neighbour pubs: while they brim with students, you're far more likely to find lecturers frequenting this place. Its attraction probably comes from being so snugly small, dingy and by smelling a bit odd (only in a good, earthy pub way). This place, however, is all about the garden area. Walk out the back door and you'll find a large, heated, seating area surrounded by lovely trees – of particular note are the bizarre animal statues that lurk among the greenery.
