Here Shop
What Stokes Croft lacks in finesse, it makes up for in artistic energy. Just round the corner from some vibrant graffiti art (among which, is Banksy's 'Mild Mild West') is the Here Shop and Gallery. Run by the same people who masterminded indie cinema The Cube, Here shows cracking local artists' work. Recently, it also snagged a show by amazing British art collective, Them Lot. The shop sells all kinds of paper goodies, including posters, magazines, prints, postcards, as well as retro robots and cuddly mutant-animals. If all that sounds a bit weird, better stick to the Bristol City Art Gallery.
