La Ruca

La Ruca is cosy, wholesome and homey in the same way as a bowl of homemade soup or a jumper knitted by your favourite granny. The food at this small café is entirely vegetarian, and is made using produce from the well-stocked shop and deli downstairs. What's so amazing is that it serves really interesting food, verging on exotic, and yet it remains as comfortable as worn-in slippers. The place is owned by a lovely Chilean family who will happily chat away with you over one of their delicious milkshakes. A real winner.
