The Cube

With a programme almost as obscure as its location (top left off Kings Square, off Stokes Croft), The Cube is the Bristol boho set's cinema/art space/gig venue of choice, serving up a nightly array of left-field music, wild-eyed cabaret and some of the cheapest cinema seats in town (in both senses). The venue is run by a volunteer collective of artists, activists and other kindly souls who oftentimes seem to have little more idea of what's going on than the punters. A bunch of amateurs, but that's precisely the point of the place and a large part of the reason we love it so. Times and prices are far too idiosyncratic even to attempt listing them.
