'Stylish, fluid, hip.' This is the description the Community Dance Centre's website gives of their hip hop lessons. While this is undeniably true of the slicker-than-greased-lightning teachers and polished regulars, Itchy was none of these adjectives when we gave it a pop. 'Vaguely retarded looking, embarrassing, plonker' probably would have been a little closer to the mark, and we've a feeling that the verdict would've been exactly the same had we tried any of the excellent Bollywood, breakdance, capoeira, funk or flamenco classes. Oh well.
