Colston Hall

This city council–run venue hosts some truly outstanding acts and is a great place for seeing all your old favourites rocking the kasbah live. At the time of going to print, artists due to appear included Rufus Wainwright and, er, Jason Donovan. Yes, well, he was cool once you know. Got it on with Kylie and all. Jason aside, the place attracts some class acts – Itchy is still bowled over from the amazing Imogen Heap gig we saw here some time ago, and we were well impressed by the fabulous acoustics and perfect atmosphere that accompanied it. Infinitely better than the soulless Carling Academy.
