The Bunch of Grapes

Tucked away in its own little sidestreet, yet still within spitting distance of the Waterfront, this friendly little boozer is the perfect place for a quiet drink of a weeknight. The walls are covered, and we mean absolutely covered, with posters from every show ever put on in the entire history of the neighbouring Hippodrome. We reckon this is very handy, as it means you shouldn't ever be stuck for a topic of conversation if you decide to bring a particularly boring date here. Just be careful not to take them down to the harbour, in case they, err, trip and fall in.
