The Croft
One of the best music venues in Bristol, this humdinger is tucked away deep in the bowels of Stoke Croft. It offers live music seven days a week and attracts a colourful mix of locals and the occasional gaggle of intrepid students who've braved the trek out of Clifton to get a flavour of what's going down in the ghetto. They like them guitary and experimental here, so expect boys with funny haircuts jumping around a bit. Don't despair if the tunes aren't quite to your taste, because you can always console yourself with the free pool and retro video games provided for your entertainment.
