A popular Clifton haunt for many years, the Albion has recently been transformed into a gastropub of the highest order. The pub bit has been kept downstairs, but the labyrinthine network of upstairs rooms is where the serious gastronomic action takes place. With its exquisite presentation and use of the finest local ingredients, the Albion should be first port of call for any lover of fine food. Save room for pudding.
