The Old Duke
Itchy likes this place. They provide good quality live music every weekday and Saturday evening and Sunday lunchtime, and, providing there's no heckling, are quite happy to let you get blinding drunk while watching. Named after legend Duke Ellington, The Old Duke offers an array of jazz and blues and is always packed full of friendly, raucous locals. The Sunday lunchtime music is particularly good in the summer when you can sit on the terrace outside and listen to the jazz floating out into the sunshine. Ahh.
