Fleece & Firkin

From hushed awe to bouncing mosh pits of the silliest variety, The Fleece has been home to many a magical musical experience. Probably a lot of extremely average ones as well, but as a gig venue the place does somehow seem to bring out the best in bands. We know people say this about loads of places, but it's a great venue to catch acts on the cusp of fame and, for the more adventurous amongst you, they put on lots of unsigned bands too. If you're a bit brassick then probably best get a beer next door first; the bar's fairly pricey.
