Bierkeller
Possibly the grottiest looking place in Bristol, the cavernous Bierkeller bears some resemblance to an old-school rugby club that someone stuck a stage in. That said, when there's a lively crowd the Bierkeller has a great atmosphere and some of the bands it attracts are really good. Just beware of ending up there when some half-rate band is playing - it'll be just you, them, and the 12 mates they squashed into the minibus to come watch them.
