Boston Tea Party
The year is 1773. Angered by increased taxation, Bostonian colonists destroy £10,000 worth of tea by throwing it into Boston Harbour rather than allowing the ships to unload their cargo. What a waste. But it is important to remember we can learn from history. And in Bristol we find proof that we have. The year is 2007 and Bristol's Boston Tea Party is the finest way to put all that tea–wasting nastiness behind us. A cosy haven for char–drinkers, snuggle into the sofa with a huge wedge of cake and you'll struggle to believe a brew could ever have been the cause of any strife.
