Uncle Sam's Vintage Clothing
An unlikely little second–hand shop that seems to deal solely in dressing a small sub–section of society who want to look like Suede in the early 90s. In many ways of course this is no bad thing, however, if you're in here looking for a particularly nasty woollen–shirt–and–tie combo for a bad taste party, then you're probably in the wrong shop, quite apart from being startlingly unoriginal. These days a bad taste party involves dressing in a way that almost guarantees a good kicking, but sadly, legal reasons mean Itchy can't print its numerous good ideas on this theme. 01 Aug 2011a little unfair to say its for suedeheads - but thinking about it - it is for suedeheads - if you have a love for all things from a era that was known as the swinging fifties then this is the shop for you. its great to find a shop that is offering you clothes that have 'complete' originality. if like me your tired of the cloaned clothes that the high street offers and would like to give yourself some identity then pop along! i was in there today on a big trip from downtown dartmoor, to find several lettermens hanging on the wall, all from america with a great story at a great price. to top it off the tunes played whilst rifling through the clothes was the vaselines!! deep joy! great shop.....
