House of Fraser and John Lewis

Bristol only has two department stores worth noting: House of Fraser and John Lewis. If you're so bone idle that you want everything under one roof, then either of these will do you just fine. Both offer high street designer labels, top–end electrical items, household goods and various other items barely worth a mention. The only difference is location; House of Fraser is in Broadmead and John Lewis is at Cribbs Causeway. Broadmead is loathsome, Cribbs is marginally better but a right bugger to get to. You decide; we're off to one of the other shops listed here to support the local economy.
