The Slow Food Market

As if you hadn't already guessed, this is a reaction to 'fast food'. The point here is to sell only locally produced and sourced goods of the highest quality. So expect cheeses from Chepstow, bacon from Bristol, scrumpy from Somerset and eggs from a chicken's front bum. There are a few notable exceptions in the form of the bloke selling imported French products such as foie gras, but as he does it with aplomb we'll let him off. The Slow Food Market is on the first Sunday of every month and is more than worth your time. Especially for the eggs.
