Christmas Steps
Yes — they're simply steps. No — they don't have disabled access. They're steps. They're quite steep and lined with independent shops from top to bottom. You can generally find a few tourists milling about at the bottom trying to work out exactly why Bristol promotes Christmas Steps as 'an attraction'. We don't know either, but they're worth a look for the unusual shops that line them. Plus the added advantage is that a walk to the top is cheaper than gym membership and harder on your thighs.
