Bristol Old Vic

No major theatre is really complete without a ghost; and since the Old Vic's been around since 1766, it's bound to have claimed a few lost souls. As the oldest working theatre in the country, the whole building is split into three theatres; the main one being the Old Vic, famous throughout the country for putting on high quality drama as well as big pantomimes at Christmas. The New Vic Studio is downstairs and puts on contemporary shows and dance performances. And, if that's not enough, in the basement there's another little theatre putting on much smaller scale performances and experimental productions, although these are generally a bit crap. Or arty, depending on how clever you are.
