Byzantium

The city of Byzantium was a hub of Asian and Mediterranean commerce, culture and food in its heyday as the gateway to the East, and the restaurant of the same name doesn't let you forget it. The food is classic French cuisine but with influences from around the Mediterranean, whilst the surroundings are sure to impress upon first glance. The downstairs bar/lounge is fantastic and has free bellydancers. The restaurant is upstairs, and the food lanterns – set selection of nine elaborate little dishes –sophisticated meze – alone will make you glad you came.
