Brasserie Pierre
Like a conservatory without the glass. Which makes it like a normal building really, I suppose. Sandy coloured walls, green leafy plants and café style seating. Not a bad place during the day with a background of non–imposing dance music and the chance to grab a lasagne for less than a fiver. If you're feeling French then go for coq au vin and read up on all the old ads for French tat on the walls. Come the night though, the music raises a decibel or two and you're well advised to make your excuses and leave before Karen and Keith and the rest of their 30–something chums arrive and drag you into their sick excuse for a good night out.
