Café Maitreya

One of only two veggie restaurants in Bristol and a favourite with the itchy team. Maitreya really cares about the whole dining experience: a wicked little gallery by local artists surrounds you while you're tucking into your sweetcorn pasties or pak choi noodles, you can get merry on organic wine or beer and, if your date's a little dull, you can entertain yourself with one of the funky books that's on sale. Or try one of the holistic therapies upstairs. Completely unique, utterly charming and just about perfect. Highly recommended.
